Maruti Suzuki Jimny garners over 15,000 bookings
At the Auto Expo 2023, the five-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny made its premiere and although the Jimny off-road SUV has only been available for pre-bookings for three weeks, it has more than 15,000 reservations.
The Jimny will be offered in a choice of five single-tone colours and two dual-tone paint options. The paint options include Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Next Blue, Bluish Black, and Pearl Arctic White, along with Kinetic Yellow and Sizzling Red with Bluish Black roof. The key highlights of the SUV include round LED headlamps, headlight washers, chunky cladding, fog lamps, a wrap-around grille section in black, square-shaped taillights located on the rear bumper, and 15-inch wheels.
Powering the five-door Jimny will be a K-Series 15B 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with an idle start/stop system. This motor will come mated to a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the SUV will be equipped with the brand's AllGrip Pro four-wheel drive system.
The interior of the Jimny comes with a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, an Arkamys sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an engine start/stop button, and cruise control.
